A message from James

Hello everyone!

Just a quick message to let people know about the newer features of the blog that I have published today.

These pages are part of the new format of the old 'Meet The Lions' page. Hoping to make it simpler for all of you to see, how related these lions are.

  •  Lions from The Woburn Pride - This page will give information about all the zoos in the UK that hold African Lions descended from Woburn Safari Park Lions
  • Lions from The West Midlands Pride - This page will give information about all the zoos in the UK that hold Africa Lions descended from West Midlands Safari Park Lions.
As of yet, these are pretty much finished but there may be one or two more collections to write in to these pages, due to being able to find certain bits of information.

There are still plenty more pages that I am currently working on such as...

  • A page dedicated to the Knowsley Safari Park Pride.
  • A page dedicated to the Lions of Longleat.
  • A page dedicated to the Blair Drummond Safari Park Pride
Other than these 'Meet the Lions' pages, I will start to post proper factual information about lions in captivity and the wild, and how they are housed in comparison.

Having just spent a week in hospital, I am very soon going to be on the road to recovery, so while I recover to start full time work, I will plan to visit a few collections before Christmas, and ofcourse all lion photos that I take will be posted on here.

Cheers all

James
